Let's prepare for SB 25-200: Dyslexia Screening and READ Act Updates!
Join Us for a READ Act Systems Work Day in Limon! During this hands-on session, district literacy teams will use the READ Act Implementation Tracker to review and strengthen their current READ Act systems. Participants will also begin developing a district-specific READ Act Handbook to document local processes and practices, helping districts prepare for new Dyslexia legislative requirements in the 2027-28 school year.
We encourage districts to bring a team, including administrators, Title I teachers, EL/ML coordinators, interventionists, and any other staff involved in READ Act implementation. This work day will provide practical tools, guidance, and dedicated planning time to help districts strengthen their systems and prepare for the future. Please register on the EC BOCES website as soon as possible so we can provide CDE with an accurate participant count for planning and finalize our lunch numbers.
