DESCRIPTION:
This workshop will introduce and practice using the Depth and Complexity framework. Educators will explore DC as a tool to engage and structure student thinking across all grades and content areas. In addition, educators will match prompts and develop questions connected to current learning objectives and curriculum. This workshop incorporates both Level I and II content and includes resources and strategies designed to support culturally and linguistically diverse students*.
Important Notes:
• The workshop is offered at no cost to participants
• Lunch, stipend and materials will be provided!
• If you have taken the virtual DC courses, this workshop will build upon that
foundation and extend learning.
• Training is applicable to all general education teachers (Pre-K to 12th grade, all
content areas), specialists, and administrators.
• *Workshop hours count towards the CLDE re-licensure requirements.
