LOCATION: East Central BOCES West Training Room
DESCRIPTION:
In the morning Title I teachers, administrators and business managers will be invited to join a training at EC BOCES in Limon to begin considering the Title monitoring requirements and preparation for monitoring events. Representatives from CDE will join the monitoring discussion and Teresa Adams, who volunteered along with her administration and EC BOCES to participate in the monitoring process in 19/20 (before COVID), will share what the event looked like from a district's perspective. Which will include how she prepared, and what she would do differently now that she has experienced it.
The afternoon will be specifically for Title I teachers, paraprofessionals, and any administrator who would like to stay. Dr. Elizabeth Dutro and Olivia Cox (both of Literacy Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder) will join us to consider how they might be able to support our consortium in addressing intervention strategies and evidence-based practices in Title I schools.
Lunch and recertification credit will be provided, so please register today if you plan to attend!
