DESCRIPTION:
This session will equip special education teachers and service providers with practical strategies for facilitating student-led IEP meetings, empowering students to take an active role in planning their educational journey.
Teachers will also learn how to ensure compliance with state and federal indicators for transition-aged IEPs, including best practices for documentation, goal-setting, and interagency collaboration. Participants will leave with tools to both increase student engagement and meet eligibility requirements with confidence.
Lunch will be provided.
