East Central BOCES Staff

Craig joined East Central BOCES as their new Director of Financial Services May 24, 2019.  Prior to that, Craig worked 14 years as the Fiscal Director at Limon Child Development Center.  Craig was the Board President of East Central BOCES for almost 2 years as he is also the President of the Limon School Board.  He stepped down from the BOCES Board as he accepted this position.  Craig is an avid traveler.  He travels to National Parks and Monuments and has visited over 340 of the 421 US National Park Service sites.  He also enjoys traveling to Disney Parks and pretty much traveling anywhere.   In Limon, Craig is active with the Limon School Board, Limon Alumni Association, and several other community organizations.  

I have worked for East Central BOCES since August 1991. I started working for East Central BOCES as a Family Resource Specialist and have moved into administration.  I am a Colorado Native graduating from Limon High School. I currently live in Strasburg, CO with my husband who works at the local electric company. We have three boys who all graduated from Strasburg School District. I love working at East Central BOCES and supporting the rural school districts in our administrative unit. 

I've worked for East Central BOCES since 1986.  I started with the BOCES as an Occupational Therapist and then moved into administrative responsibilities over the years. Working in our rural schools has been very rewarding because of the amazing students, passionate educators, engaged parents and other professional team members who truly want to work in our schools.  I enjoy many hobbies like embroidery, sewing, photography, gardening, and spending time with grandchildren and family.  

I was born and raised in Limon - a true Limon Badger, I truly bleed black & white :)  I live in Limon with my husband, Chris and my two kids.  My FAVORITE thing to do is watch my kids in ALL their activities.  They keep us busy with sports, band, and all the fun   Baseball/Softball is probably my favorite!  We have many of our extended family members that also live in Limon or close to us - so we enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.

I enjoy any Christmas Hallmark movie - from the months of October to December.  I enjoy cooking, baking, reading all kinds of books, and following my very busy kids around to all their events.  I even enjoy a fun concert here and there.   

I have worked as a School Psychologist for the BOCES, and am now a Special Education Coordinator.  I have worked with the BOCES since 2004, and have enjoyed learning so much, and working with some of the BEST people ever.  I am always willing to help anyone seeking support.     

Emma has been with ECBOCES for eleven years, managing the Distance Learning program.  She lives on a cattle ranch south of Pueblo with her husband, Mark.  Mark and Emma have five children and twelve grandchildren.  Emma loves spending time with her family, helping with the ranch and spending time in the mountains.  In her spare time, she is an avid photographer.

I have worked for EC BOCES since August of 2018.  Having graduated from Hi-Plains High School, I am very familiar with the area and am passionate about Eastern Colorado.  I graduated from McPherson College with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.  I then went to Creighton University where I graduated in 2016 with my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.  I returned to eastCO after working for 2 years at a hospital in Kansas (Kids are so much more fun than adults).  My husband is a PE teacher, so we enjoy similar schedules by spending time with our 3 dogs & 2 cats,  visiting family, camping, traveling, and going to concerts.

This will be my ninth year at ECBOCES, serving the member districts as Gifted Education Consultant/Gifted Coordinator. Previously, I taught at the elementary level in Byers and Bennett. I live in Bennett with my husband and we have three young adult kids. I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming and appreciate rural life. Outside of work, I love to hike in the mountains, knit, hang out with my two dogs, and count the days until my kids come home from college.

Hi! I’m a remote school psychologist and have had the privilege of working with ECBOCES since 2023. I began as an intern, later served our districts in person, and eventually moved back to my hometown to be closer to family and friends. I absolutely love my job and feel so fortunate to support our students, families, and communities!

My husband, Nathan, and I live in the Pittsburgh area (go Steelers!) with our mini goldendoodle, Ollie. We’ve been together since high school. The area where we grew up and went to school is very similar to some of the districts ECBOCES serves — we even had a "bring your tractor to school" day each year, since many of our classmates were dairy farmers!

I’m a proud first-generation college graduate and alum of the University of Pittsburgh (BS) and Pennsylvania Western University (MS, EdS). In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

Laura Bushong is a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a specialized focus on helping children with motor speech disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). With a deep commitment to improving communication, Laura brings both clinical expertise and a caring approach to every child and family she works with. By combining evidence-based therapy techniques with a personalized, patient-centered approach, Laura empowers children to overcome speech challenges and build their confidence in expressing themselves.

I'm Alex! This is my 8th year at BOCES as a Speech Language Pathologist on the east end. I've lived in eastern Colorado all of my life and love being in the same town as all of my family. We have lots of fun with game nights! I also have a cute little dog named Macy :)

Tambria loves her job as a speech assistant and considers the interactions with “her” kids the best part of everyday.  When not working, Tambria likes to travel to Chicago to visit her daughter, spending time with her animals (including horses, chickens, cats, and a dog), and soaking up the quiet country life with her husband Scott.  She lives in Calhan, Colorado.

I have been a Speech Pathologist Assistant with Boces since 2011. I have been married for  5 years and live in Commerce City. My 17 yr. old step daughter is a senior this year, my 3 yr. old son is heading to part time prek, and my 4 month old son will be going to daycare! I love traveling, going to concerts, hiking when I can and hope to start playing golf this year.  

I have worked for the E.C. BOCES since fall of 2016 (plus one year in 06/07) as a Speech-language Pathologist.  I live in St. Francis, Kansas where I grew up. I moved back here in 2016 to be near my mom and our cropland.  I previously lived in the Denver, CO area for 30 years and worked for Jefferson County Public Schools for 15 years.  I have two cats (Lionel and Tommy) and help care for my mom's small dog (Frankie a girl).  I have enjoyed being back in NW Kansas connecting with old friends, and working in Eastern Colorado.  I enjoy the rural open scenery when driving to my various assignments.  I still enjoy spending time in the Denver area when I am able.
