DESCRIPTION:
Will share information and strategies for supporting English Learners/Multilingual Learners in early childhood classrooms, including effective classroom practices and steps to take if there are concerns about a student's progress. With increased numbers of EL/MLs enrolling (including Newcomers), districts have had multiple students concerns related to students who are in the age group of preschool students - K. Session will provide strategies to promote language acquisition, collect data other other relevant info that would support the student, family, school and the BOCES team.
