In this session, we’ll dive into the art and science of using positive reinforcement to build social-emotional skills that stick. You’ll learn how to strategically introduce reinforcers, recognize when students are ready for fading, and make thoughtful decisions about timing and supports.
Bonus: We’ll explore how AI can help streamline the process — by creating smart, customizable data collection tools that guide how we track, adjust, and individualize reinforcement and instruction.
This training meets the requirements for special education and behavioral health licensure.
A $25 stipend will be paid in May for all attendees of this session. You must complete the required steps to be eligible to receive a stipend.

DBQs aren’t just for big writing assignments—they can be used to build critical thinking and writing skills every day! In this session, participants will explore strategies for incorporating DBQ-based quick writes, Document Analysis tasks, and skill-building activities into their daily instruction using DBQ Online. We’ll focus on ways to help students develop sourcing, contextualization, and argumentation skills in manageable, engaging formats. Whether you have five minutes or an entire class period, this session will provide practical strategies to reinforce historical thinking and writing in any classroom. Stipend included!
