PRESENTER: Krista Klabo, CDE Supervisor LOCATION: Over Zoom DESCRIPTION: In this session, we’ll dive into the art and science of using positive reinforcement to build social-emotional skills that stick. You’ll learn how to strategically introduce reinforcers, recognize when students are ready for fading, and make thoughtful decisions about timing and supports. Bonus: We’ll explore how AI can help streamline the process — by creating smart, customizable data collection tools that guide how we track, adjust, and individualize reinforcement and instruction. This training meets the requirements for special education and behavioral health licensure. A $25 stipend will be paid in May for all attendees of this session. You must complete the required steps to be eligible to receive a stipend.
