PRESENTER: Beth Skelton LOCATION: Stratton Community Building - 918 Colorado Ave. Stratton, CO 80836 DESCRIPTION: In this interactive, hands-on session, participants will discover what their multilingual learners can do and practice strategies that guide them to joyfully develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through content instruction across the curriculum. Participants will leave the workshop with many ‘zero prep’ strategies that will provide opportunities for students to S.W.I.R.L. (Speak, Write, Interact, Read, and Listen) in every lesson. This full-day workshop is appropriate for ML and general educators in grades K-12. Stipend and lunch will be provided.
