PRESENTER: Kristen Eveland LOCATION: East Central BOCES West Training Room DESCRIPTION: Join Kristen Eveland this summer for a deep dive into John Hattie's work in Visible Learning through the lens of mathematics. In each full-day math workshop, we'll explore evidence-based strategies that have the greatest impact on student learning and classroom instruction. We'll dive deeper into student engagement and classroom discourse, and discuss how the timing of certain strategies can provide the most benefit for you and your class. You'll have planning time and support to incorporate new ideas in building conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and a love of math! Stipend and lunch will be included.
