This workshop will include concept-based teaching and learning and introduction of Content Imperatives. Educators will share prior experiences with implementing the Depth and Complexity Framework, and engage in lesson and unit design matching prompts to current learning objectives and curriculum. This workshop includes a brief review of Level I and II content and
includes resources and strategies designed to support culturally and linguistically diverse students*.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• The workshop is offered at no cost to participants.
• Lunch and materials will be provided!
• Training is applicable to all general education teachers,
specialists, and administrators.
• Completion of Level 1 and 2 (online or in person) are prerequisites for the Level 3 training.
• "'Workshop hours count towards the CLDE re-licensure requirements.
