ECBOCES Math\, Literacy\, and Science Coach es will provide targeted professional learning and instructional support to help educators incorporate academic practices into authentic CTE lessons\, projects\, and career-connected learning experiences to strengthen student growth and achievement. CTE educators will collaborate with coaches to uti lize pre-made 1-page micro-strategies that are relevant and practical for t heir individual programs. Participants will deploy these improvement strate gies via the Digital Vault throughout the school year—eliminating narrative lesson planning—while identifying the resources\, coaching\, and instructi onal support needed for successful implementation. The session will also es tablish clear expectations for Checkbox Cover Sheets\, surveys\, and partic ipation requirements. Educators will review the streamlined processes for d ocumenting implementation via the Checkbox Cover Sheets and demonstrating 1 00% participation in required improvement plan activities. The session will focus on: • 2026–2027 CTE Improvement Plan Implementation: Review improvem ent plan goals\, expectations\, and priority areas and deploy pre-made\, lo w-lift strategies for implementation within Health Science and Agriculture programs. • Math\, Literacy\, and Science Integration: Identify evidence-ba sed practices for embedding academic skills into authentic CTE lessons\, pr ojects\, and activities to support student achievement. • Instructional Coa ching and Site Visits: Establish ongoing support from ECBOCES Math\, Litera cy\, and Science coaches through coaching sessions\, collaboration\, classr oom support\, and site visits focused on implementation of improvement stra tegies. • Program-Specific Strategy Planning: Allow educators to identify a nd prioritize 1-page micro-strategies that align with the needs of their st udents\, courses\, and individual CTE programs. • Documentation\, Complianc e\, and Participation: Review Checkbox Cover Sheets\, surveys\, timelines\, and processes required to demonstrate implementation and 100% participatio n. • CTE Career Expo: Plan meaningful opportunities for students to engage with employers\, explore high-demand careers\, and connect classroom learni ng to Health Science and Agriculture career pathways. • Finance Park and St ock Market Challenge: Incorporate experiential financial literacy and busin ess education opportunities that strengthen financial decision-making\, app lied math\, problem-solving\, and career-readiness skills. • Field Trips an d Career Exploration: Plan industry-aligned experiences that expose student s to workplaces\, employers\, postsecondary opportunities\, and career path ways connected to their CTE programs.
