	 BOCES West Training Room DESCRIPTION: This six hour interactive workshop e
	quips educators with practical strategies and tools to identify talent in s
	tudents - especially those from underserved populations. Participants will 
	learn how to apply an alternative approach for recognizing gifted behaviors
	 in diverse learners and fostering inclusive learning environments that cul
	tivate mathematical potential. The session blends research-based theory wit
	h hands-on practice\, ensuring participants leave with strategies they can 
	implement immediately. Lunch will be provided and a small stipend offered t
	o EC BOCES educators attending. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? School Administrators ● 
	Principals\, Assistant Principals\, and district leaders who want to improv
	e identification processes and ensure equitable access to gifted services i
	n their schools. 3rd\, 4th\, and 5th Grade Teachers ● Elementary educators 
	working directly with students during critical developmental years when tal
	ent often becomes evident but may go unrecognized. Gifted Coordinators ● Pr
	ofessionals responsible for identifying and supporting gifted learners who 
	seek innovative approaches to expand their identification toolkit\, especia
