DESCRIPTION:PRESENTERS: Catapult Learning LOCATION: Over Zoom DESCRIPTION: 
	This professional development series delves into the Science of Reading for
	 K-5 teachers\, offering research-based strategies to enhance reading and w
	riting instruction across grades. Participants will explore ways to incorpo
	rate evidence-based practices aligned with the Academic Content Standards a
	nd National Reading Panel’s 5 Components of Reading and Writing: phonemic a
	wareness\, phonological awareness\, vocabulary development\, fluency\, and 
	comprehension. During workshops\, participants will uncover strategies for 
	supporting a diverse group of learners\, including emerging readers and wri
	ters and gifted and talented students. Between each professional developmen
	t session\, instructional coaching opportunities will be available\, provid
	ing targeted support for classroom implementation of workshop strategies. T
	his professional development and instructional coaching series is designed 
	to empower educators to strengthen students’ literacy skills and build conf
